Congratulations to G13-1 team.

They defeated Concord 2-1 on Monday 8th June 2009 in the Sydney Cup, and have progressed to the Quarter Finals.  

They're scheduled to play Lindfield on Sunday 14th June at Endeavour Reserve.

Well it looks like we will be having a rain interrupted season so I would urge everyone to be patient and keep in touch with the emails and SMS messages regarding cancellations in games and training. Information can only be passed on as quickly as our Secretary receives it from the Association and in some cases it is very last minute communications. If in any doubt always contact the Secretary regarding your games and training.

Welcome to the 2009 season and on behalf of all the committee we want to wish everyone a wonderful and prosperous new year. This year marks a very special anniversary for our club as it will be our 50th Anniversary of Soccer at the Crest Soccer Complex.

Our club has a rich history and even though we have had name changes over the years our ideology and character of the club has stayed true through it all. So whether you knew us as Hume United, Crest Cougars and with the amalgamation with Georges Hall Giants to South West Strikers and finally to the Bankstown Sports Strikers FC the heart and soul of the club has never changed.

We have always aimed to be one of the best clubs in our districts in one of the best locations in our area and provide our members with the best of everything the game has to offer. Registrations will begin soon and the information can be found on this website or in local newspapers, please try and register early to avoid any disappointments.
