In 2012, age groups from G06 – G09 will play Small-Sided Football in accordance with Football Australia rules. Ages 10 and over will play competitive football. Grading for all competitive teams will take place commencing February.
Special Interest is sought for the following:
§ Girls aged 10 and up to play in Ladies’ competitions on Sundays
§ Children aged 3-5 to play in the Strikers Kindy Squad (places depend on number of volunteer coaches and managers)
§ Children with intellectual disabilities aged 6 - 12 for the Strikers Lightning Bolts special needs squad
§ Anyone wishing to coach or manage a football team
Fees 2012 Season
Kindy = $40.00 - includes shirt
Juniors = $100.00 - includes Shorts, socks & spray jackets
Seniors = $300.00 - This includes match fees.
We regret there are no family discount this year.
For juniors and seniors there is an additional fee of $20.00 per player which is a canteen fee - which is fully refundable at the end of the season if the player or parent of a junior player serves their canteen duty when it is rostered. Most teams only serve one or two times in any season and it only takes 1 hour of your time when your team is rostered to assist.
Registration Requirements
For new players (not having played G06 or above before)
§ Photocopy of birth certificate, passport or drivers’ license
§ Player must be present for digital photograph
§ If the player is a minor their registration forms must be signed by a parent or legal guardian
For players new to Strikers (have played elsewhere before)
§ All of the above plus a clearance letter from former club secretary, including details of any suspensions or defaults
Student ID card must be provided to claim a student rate. Any player required to wear prescription sports glasses to play will have to present a letter from their optometrist stating that requirement, and must have their photograph taken while wearing the eyewear.
Updated ID Photos
Many members will required an updated ID photo this year, so it is recommended that all players attend at time of registration to avoid delays.
